This Hechinger Report blog states that studies of NISL programs create a new argument for our training programs: They can be cost-effective.

Many studies have reached the conclusion that leadership matters. But the NISL studies are the first to show that schools can improve student achievement affordably by concentrating on leadership. In addition, the research indicates that it might be more practical to train principals at struggling schools rather than remove them.
