With principal evaluations on the horizon, the Minnesota Principals Academy has become the forum for strengthening leadership skills. The Executive Development Program for School Leaders is the program the academy delivers to help principals meet the new demands of the job as instructional leaders who can help teachers become more effective.

The NISL program already builds in knowledge, skills and tools that can help the state’s 1,700 principals meet new evaluation requirements, including driving for results, making effective use of data, improving instruction and student performance, and engaging the community.
